Have you heard that running can cause facial sagging? Well, it is not me who says that running makes the cheeks fall. It is the Speech Therapist with Aesthetics Function, Dr.Caroline Saman. And since I love running (I am almost like a Forest Gump), I decided to talk to her to know what to do.
According to Dr. Saman, running exercises make the cheeks fall due to the impact associated with the effect of gravity (we had better complain to Newton).
Another important thing: there are differences in relation to age. Between the ages of 25 and 30, we begin to have a decrease in collagen production and elastin fibers, which gives support and elasticity to the skin. The age to start worrying!
As the days go by, these changes become more and more intense, which makes us increasingly vulnerable to the effects of gravity?
Now stay tuned to Dr. Saman hint:
When you go running, make a slight suction of the cheeks toward the teeth, so you won’t let them loose and reduce these bad effects.
Note: I tried to follow the doctor’s advice. The first time was not easy. Now I begin to see how my face reacts when I’m running and I’m getting good results.
It is worth a try! Kisses, and have a good exercise!
A question:
Have you already experienced holding the cheeks when running? Tell me how it was.
